In Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022), Tails carries around a backpack full of deadly explosive weapons. If you pay attention during the final battle, you can see him shoot a laser directly out of the open backpack, showing that the backpack itself is a deadly explosive weapon.

I love how perfectly the movie universe captures all facets of Sonic’s personality! The wise guy, the hero, and the good natured softie. It shows that Sonic in Western media can perfectly capture everything Sonic is supposed to be about. Moreover, it just stands as a testament to how good the Sonic movies are.
